How old is too old?

I see that Graham Hick is going to be 42 this season. Can he still cut the mustard or should he move way to let younger blood through?

At what point do you think players should say, enough is enough? When they feel like it, when they can no longer perform as they did when, say, 30 or something else?

Remember, the likes of Ramprakash and Gibson topped the averages last year and both are in their mid to late 30's.

Enough is enough when you're not good enough. Age is only a number after all, if the likes of Ramprakash and Hick are good enough to get in their respective teams, then retirement shouldn't be an issue. I don't think age should be a restriction on a players career.

Echo the above, I follow the old if you're good enough then your age is irrelevant. He is still scoring runs (not as many as in his heyday but to top the averages for his team) so there is no issue.

I can't see him going this year, maybe when he's 44/45 to be honest.
