India v.s. Pakistan

As India and Pakistan go face to face on Jan 13th in Lahore for the first test match, the excitment is building. The indians have been on a roll since Greg Chappell took charge. Pakistan and India both are coming off with huge victories at home giving them a huge boost in confidence. India man handled Sri lanka and drew with South africa. However as India manged to go to 4th in ODIs, Pakistan was also destroying England.

India v.s Pakistan is truly the war which will never end. Pakistanis will always say Pakistan rules and Indians will say India rules. This war between india and pakistan is the war of the century. No series or wars come so passionate as India v.s Pakistan. Not the Ashes, ot the V.B. Series or anything else.

India v.s pakistan is no doubt the mother of all?series. As India get ready to take on Pakistan, India will surely look to win this series because this is the last series for Sachin, Dravid, Kumble as they will retire soon and because of revenge over the last series.

Now ONE question remains, WILL TEAM INDIA BE VICTORIOUS or will PAKISTAN DESTROY INDIA?

Only TIME WILL TELL.

Nice first article, indiancricketer. But, can we postpone the forum newspaper thing until we all get together and decide on it, being a democratic forum?

As Sohum said in the other thread, if it's going to be a summary of the day's play, don't post it here, those are better suited for the India in Pakistan thread in Indian Cricket. But, if you want to make a point using your article or write something at the end of the series reflecting back on everything that has happened, then this is the place.

pakistan can't destroy india, on home soil everyone has an advantage, it is a proven fact that on a neutral ground in an competetive competition india would beat pakistan any time. (look at the world cup india win everytime) Only reason why we are not sucessfull in pakistan this time is we have the wrong selector who in his right mind would take wasim jaffer? why not Lakshmipathy Balaji? The best bowler to partner pathan against pakistan which he proved last time i think we have seen enough of zaheer khan now he has too many failures at one day level hes ok for tests srisanth is ok and agarkar is ok but not the best we need to look at developing young quicks and giving them a chance we have the denis lillee academy in india and we can't produce a fast bowler i don't beleive that. Munaf Patel? mumbai what sppeds does he bowl at? we just need someone with pace to scare batsmen like brett lee and akhtar does pathan will do the rest from the other end like wasim akram used to do with waqar younis

Wasim Akram was decently quick, though. Many, many yards quicker than Pathan is now and Pathan has ever been. There's no point in hating the selectors now, although its funny that we chose 3 openers and only played one in any given game.
