India vs Scotland Match Thread

India's first match in the Twenty20 WC. They have a very young team and will be eager to put up an impressive performance in this game. Weather has delayed play but hopefully we'll get a full match.

Its not looking good from recent pictures, but you know what, i think Scotland might have a chance here.

India are very limited in thier knowledge, albeit they powered over England but still, they have the hitters, but havent got the brains it seems. I think if Dhoni had brains 100% he'd be the most successful WK Batsmen in the game after Adam Gilchrist

Yeah that has been the idea against the weaker teams but things haven't turned out that way.

The umpires have announced that the match will start on 6:15 (Local time). It will be a full 20 over match.

Scotland has won the toss and elected to field. It's raining again so play will be delayed even more. Overs won't be lost for another 30 mins, but it isn't really looking good.

Looking bad for the Scots, can't see any play happening, especially with only 30mins left to the cut off point.
