Until recently I had thought that muscles take full 48 hours to recover.
Yesterday, my groin was aching, and so was my calf. I go for a match, and then during and after the match, no probes with the groin and calf, only the thigh. Can someone explain this to me?

Firstly, it is not a fact that muscles take 48 hours to heal, it depends on the amount and intensity of exercises you performed on the muscles.

And as far as I know in cricket thighs are used a lot more than calves and groin, therefore making them ache more as you are still exercising them.
