Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Well, after that rather meaningless rainout to the Intercontinental Cup match, these two will now try their hands at ODI's.

Kenya have apparently won the toss and will bat first.

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Kenya 76/2 after 20.
Ouma out for a duck - yet another failure. A big worry.
Suji out for 2.
David Obuya 43*
Steve Tikolo 18*

Mukeddem again in the wickets - has both so far

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

A fairly evenly poised match at the moment. Kenya's run rate certainly isn't out of sight. But if the current partnership can stay in there for another 10 or so overs, they might be able to kick it up a notch and pull out of Bermuda's reach.

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Pretty economical stuff from the island bowlers here.

Kenya 142-6 after 39 overs.

The target should definitely be something within Bermuda's reach.

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Looks like Kenya finished 224/8.
Some high scoring overs there at the end.

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Bermuda 22/1 after 10 overs.
They'll need to pick up the pace, or this will be out of reach much too soon.

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

43/2 after 16 (drinks).

Odoyo 5-2-7-1
Ongondo 5-1-14-0
Suji* 3-1-16-1
Odhiambo* 3-0-4-0

all tight so far except Suji and he can be forgiven as he did get the second wicket :)

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Hiren Varaiya into the attack and straight into the wickets!

Tucker (11) caught Ongondo then Hemp (0) caught Mishra

Yoouuuuuu BEEAAAUUUTTTYYYYY!!!!! :D

Re: Kenya v Bermuda, 1st ODI, Nov 11

Well another disappointing game for Bermuda. Kenya won by 79 runs. Congratulations to Kenya I hope Bermuda can do better in tomorrows game. A few positives, Tikolo is being kept at bay so far, keeping him from making 100 runs. Congrats to young Malachi Jones (16 yrs of age) making his debut in ODI competition and picking up a wicket. Mooky is still hot claiming the most wickets (3).With all the wet weather, i was kind of skeptical if they were ever going to play, hope the weather is good tomorrow.

Need to see more from Hemp, expectiations are riding high from him. Leverock needs to step up to the plate, he could do better. Need to see more runs from OUterbridge, J. Tucker, Romaine, Minors et al, who are capable of putting on the runs.

O'brien is sure a miss, too bad(expelled from the team)as well as L. Cann, who will be joining the team later.

A pretty solid win for Kenya. Great stuff from most of the bowlers.
