Magic make magical signing

Less than 24 hours after his departure from the Kingston Cheetahs, stylish batsman Kshitiz has signed with the powerhouse Madrid Magic.

Kshitiz expressed his desire for a move about a week ago and had been in talks with the Wizards. After the deal fell through the Magic pounced.

"When I heard that Kshitiz would not be heading to the Wizards I immediately offered him a spot at the Magic," Mousey told to press today.

Mousey is delighted to have veteran batsman Kshitiz on board.

"A batsman of his calibre and experience cannot easily be overlooked. The experience he will bring to the side alone is incredible. Now with 7 batsman it's going to be tougher for our batsmen to get a spot in the XI. This is another positive for the club."

The move is expected to generate even more success for the dominant Magic.

"The depth at our club is just amazing. We now have 14 active guys competing for 11 spots. Not to panic though, a rotation policy is in place."

Kshitiz is expected to travel with the Magic to debut in Round 2.

Some guy who is less of a hack than you. :)

This statement is factually incorrect.

Just thought I'd let you know ;)

Re: Magic make magical signing

No player can be signed by another team unless delisted by the team he is with.
We will be looking for a good trade here.

Not stuffin around mate. If freedom of contract is the go, and players can leave mid season and join another club, then it's a novelty.

As long as the rules are clear for all teams then go for it.

Anyhow, why you would want a batsman that has his turban keep slipping over his eyes, I don't know ;)

A couple of things here:

1. He wanted out, I offered him a spot. It has not been posted in the Season 2 Squad thread for your reasons. Unofficially he is a Magic player, but officially we don't have him. Breeno has named another batsman to replace him if unavailable.

2. If you really want to keep the integrity of the competition maybe you should take a look at the Cheetahs. Sort them out. You've basically just given every player a type and are switching them whenever and however often you want. Even I don't know who is in your team atm.

3. None of this stereotypical crap please. Could be taken as racism. He has already explain he does not wear a turban.

Spot on Mouse, I just want this to be completed already, we don't need any other controversies in this comp.
