Masuri Helmet (worn by Alistair Cook)

does anyone know where you can get the Lid that Cook wears when fielding in Close? it has an extra grill on the bottom for protecting the neck? is it a custom grill?

Hi Stumped,
I`m turning into a bit of a saddo but,In this months Cricketer magazine there is a Morrant catalogue and Masuri do a fielding visor for £17-95(rrp £22). I think thats the one you need

right so this may sound like a silly question, but will Masuri grills only fit masuri Lids?

Depends on the fittings, you used to be able to swap them around and looking at some of the helmets out there they still use the same fittings so, you should be able to.

hmmmm they do a specific Wicket keeping one, might have to invest! i rarely wear a lid behind the stumps, only usually my oakleys and gum shield!
