Micky_Ashman in very bad form and fear of losing his spot

Micky_Ashman is in bad form. After 5 games hes only managed to get 1 wicket and that was in the second game of the TwentyFive over comp.

When we asked if there was any reason for the bad form, he repiled with "No the TwentyFive over game is a batsmen game and spinners get punished, although i should have atleast 3 wickets".

"What about your batting you made a solid 36* off 29 in round 1 against the Magic"? his reply was simple. "The batting has been stronger and i havent had a bat since. My batting has been off and on and its not solid enough to be in the side as a batting allrounder i am a pure allrounder and really needing to perform with both bat and ball.

Micky_Ashman has been the no.1 spinner in the Wizards side since last year, he has 1 MOTM award in the test but fears if performance doesnt pick up he may be watching his team from the sidelines.

This 25/25 comp has people (namely bowlers) stressing out left, right and centre. :eek:

Dont worry about Jolldo Micky, he is still reeling from the loss to his old mob. ;)

And you haven't lost any form, this is a batsmen's game. All the averages have been tweaked heavily in favor of us pure bats.

You'll be back to your best in the regular season.

Please don't ask when it is, as I have been asked that question a fair bit of late. @|

When do i bowl to you easy wicket and easy field to select 9 slips a bowler and a keeper:p

Bowlers have to understand, T25 for bowlers is not about the economy rates anymore, its about the wickets they take.

The other problem is, everyone's been picking excellent pitches mostly. Pick bowlers pitch / normal pitches too for heavens sake, where are the tactics?

It's about both....but i agree with you about the pitches. There are critical changes to line ups depending upon pitch, and if you know the all rounder types of your opponent then you can use it to select a pitch that will cane him.
