1. Guwahati could lose its right to stage internationals

Guwahati could lose its right to stage future one-day internationals after the violence that followed Sunday's washed out match with England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India may have to haul the remote Assam venue off its roster if it is decided minimum security is not in place.

The International Cricket Council's chief executive Malcolm Speed is to review a report into the events.

BCCI came up with an itinerary and England agreed to play a match in Guwahati.
If a board proposes a venue it's up to the visiting country's board to accept it or not.

If the [England and Wales Cricket Board] had had any doubts about it they could have sent a security delegation to inspect the ground.

Now fans from certain parts of the country won't be happy. It is entirely
possible that they might claim Guwahati is being victimized for showing
support and waving banners for a certain ex-captain. Don't believe them
for a minute.

2. Dalmiya suspended from BCCI on corruption charges, obtains bail.
The very slow wheels of justice finally caught up with Dalmiya?

Former Indian cricket chief Jagmohan Dalmiya has been formally suspended from all board meetings while police investigate a complaint against him.
Dalmiya is accused of mishandling nearly £50,000 of funds during the 1996 World Cup staged in India - and using the money for "personal gains".

Mr. Dalmiya thinks he could be arrested and locked up in a jail for his corruption.
He went to several courts to get pre-emptive bails.
