Only ODI: Ireland vs India at Belfast
Halfway through this game at the moment, this game being a one-off match with India taking on Ireland.
Ireland won the toss and batted on a good deck but they could only manage 193 off their 50 overs. Ireland owes much of its score to Niall O'Brien who struck a well-made 52. He combined with captain Trent Johnston, who scored 34 and they carried the Irish to that final total.
Sreesanth struck twice early for the Indians and finished with 3/50. Piyush Chawla also bowled well, taking 3/29 with RP Singh picking up 2/36.
The Indian bowlers were quite wayward though, they conceded 29 extras, the third highest scorer for the Irish side. Other than that, none of the Irish batters could muster anything of significance.
So, India have 194 set for victory, the Irish bowlers will want to take advantage of their home ground conditions and take a few wickets early if they want to win this game.
