Pathirana smacks 277 in Twenty20 Demolition
Dhanuka Pathirana has smashed an unbelievable 277 runs in a recent Twenty20 game in Lancashire's Saddleowrth League.
Pathirana's innings took just 72 balls and included an amazing 29 sixes and 18 fours during the onslought.
"Everything seemed to hit the middle," Pathirana, who had to borrow a bat as he had left his at home, said. "I was seeing it like a football. It was like a dream ... I think I did some serious damage to some of the vehicles in the car park."

Wow, what an innings!!! 277 is a phenomenal score for a team total let alone by just one person!
Could we this sort of thing at a higher level? I think that Ricky Ponting has the highest score for an International Twenty20 game, with that score being 98 I think. I would say that 100 runs in an Twenty20 game would be a fair effort but 277 is freaking unbelievable.
