Running the Great South in full cricket gear for Charity!!
The countdown has started to the Great South run (22nd October) and I will running the equivalent of 800 singles (!!) in full cricket gear (yes, in full cricket gear which includes cricket whites, pads, gloves and cricket bat !!), to help girls and boys, able bodied or not, to hopefully play for England one day or just simply to fulfil their dream of being able to play cricket.
Portsmouth Community Cricket Club (PCCC) educates, promotes and encourages disabled men, women and children of all ages to play cricket. The coach of this club also works with approximately 3000 disadvantaged children from Portsmouth and Southampton each year to give them the opportunity to play cricket.
All contributions will aid towards a community mini bus to allow those disabled and disadvantaged children be transported to and from cricket facilities giving them to participate in a sport that we take for granted. I am proud to sponsor PCCC's great work and would be extremely grateful for any donation you are able to make to this worthy cause, To Read more please click: http://www.batpad.co.uk/charity.html
Portsmouth Community Cricket Club and I really appreciate your donation. Without charitable money this work cannot continue so any amount will make a difference but please try to give generously!
Regards
