TV in the USA

anyone know if the World Cup will be shown in the USA? I know the match times will be good for the USA since it is in the Windies. I was wondering if Direct TV would be showing it since they are showing the Ashes. might have to visit the pub to find out if they will get the World Cup!

Re: TV in the USA

It is my understanding that both Dish Network and DirectTV will be offering it on pay-per-view. So if you have either, you'll be fine.

Re: TV in the USA

if you have highspeed internet, and a decent video card i think willow.tv is the best option.

Re: TV in the USA

anyone in the USA, Chicago specifically, i'm going to be at The Globe this weekend and am going to ask them if they plan on showing any of the World Cup matches. They showed the Ashes (unsure about the CB Series). If they are I will post here. I'll be there on the weekends to watch real football pretty much every weekend of the world cup, and the matches start at 9:30 AM Chicago time! at least I think that is when they start

Re: TV in the USA

so i asked around at the globe and it looks like they are going to be showing the World Cup matches.

Was looking at the Globe TV schedule and didn't see any cricket listed.
You might have to fight off the rugers and soccerites to get control of the
TV dial.

if they order it they will put it on if anyone asks. there are enough TVs to go around that everyone can be happy
