Thanks Liz and Dave. So far this is wishful thinking, I will confirm once my travel is final.
The only test match I can watch given the schedule is 1st test SA vs Eng at Oval (19th July).
May be stay out and commute into London?.

My son has attended Ian Pont camp once 3 years ago in New Jersey, USA. He usually makes one trip in summer,
has a 1 week camp. I liked the focus on fast bowling and it was well delivered. Now I am trying to undo all
he did and turn him into a leggie :)

We have had coaches here from India (ex-Ranji, level-2 NCA types). 2 were wicket keepers, 1 medium pacer.
We are yet to see a spin specialist, hence I have spent last 2 years reading everything I can on legspin.
Being a decent bowler myself has helped, still learning. I think a specialist coach can do a lot here.
Legs spin a world different from off-spin, I can even see two parallel sessions.
1. run up, rhythm
2. getting side on, landing
3. left foot landing, pivot
4. grip, how to achieve high revs
5. Flight, control
6. variations (no doosra :)
7. Fielding, catching off your own bowling, follow through
8. Field setting, planning a dismissal
9. Attacking and defending
10. Fitness and strengthening for spinners
11. Nutrition, injury prevention, taking care of fingers
12. Mental aspects of the game, handling pressure, simulate game situation

What might also work is a set of 3 camps in a year. May want to give the students basics first.
Then give them 4 months of work to do. Check progress and go to the next stage.
I think a spinner should have the same coach for 2-3 years, so the coach can work over
a longer period of time to develop the skill in stages.

This is of course for a beginner. May want to go in depth on one aspect for advanced
student.
 
Saqlain has been playing in Toronto with quite a successful team, despite Pakistan not allowing any of their players to travel. Fortunately the Canadians stepped up and played up!

He worked with them prior to the match and appears to have enjoyed it so perhaps being based in the UK but travelling around the World would be a good idea?

Ian has a USP; as one of his ABSAT coaches I must say, it works incredibly well. Pace bowling coaches are two a penny but Ian has a different way of getting the hidden potential out of a pace bowler. Perhaps if Saqlain was to specialise, he needs to come up with something similar for spin... or do you think just being Saqlain Mushtaq will be enough?
