Cricket Albury/wodonga

Yeah mate know him very well actually played in a premiership with him at north in 09. We keep in touch. As you do with premiership teammates
Since you stated you know him very well just wondering if you could get an update on the president resigning and who the new one is now at raiders... also I hear a few players have left raiders in the last week and a couple are meeting with other clubs... also marmos opinion on the CAW Draw being released today... that would be great... im just hoping marmos little facebook out burst attacking big cricket and all us wankers on here was not aimed at you since you guys are good mates and close premiership players...

Few district clubs starting training this weekend, be interested to see how these teams shape up.

Provincial draw tough start for a few teams.

I think a coach of a CAW club would be better off pulling his head in and staying off all social media if he doesn't have anything positive to say about his own club/association, I've got no doubt Mick Erdeljac would happily debate the draw setup. If any club needs a social media ban it's definitely our club, so many great people involved in our fine club with a few who can't keep their issues behind closed doors. They know who they are and maybe they'd be better off moving on and being someone else's problem. Go Raiders!

Very very well said.... sadly he only plays to the beat of his own drum and never has and never will take advice especially great advice like this .... wish raiders all the best

Back to the debate of numbers. Yes footy has taking away alot of young guys because they only get a short break over christmas. Very interested that i have been asked to play or help out in the lower grades from a few clubs. I haven't played in five years but there is plenty of guys still slogging it out over summer. Which proves my point that numbers are down. With the Provinical clubs putting teams in District comp to play on turf is great but some of the District teams are struggling . CAW should just make a 6 disivsion comp. Name each divison after a hall of famer or something similar.

Well said Raider Boi . Raiders have to move forward and performance is the key.

Football clubs are putting increasing pressure on young blokes, which in turn stops blokes from playing cricket. Young blokes pushing themselves in football spend most of the summer break in the gym. Is it a scheduling issue? Is it a motivation issue?

Iw ould like to bring up the point about money in cricket. i have herd that popko has been given over 5000 dollars to go to albury! that is a lot of money for signing, and may be paid incentives on top of that. i know we give incentives of 50$ if you make 50 and 100$ for 100 etc. but 5000$ is rediculous! i have herd tallangatta pay there players too, not sure if thats true tho. some players have been to 100 clubs already, imagine how little loyalty there would be if money was splashed around. bad move albury, poor form!

Wow thats alot of money I wonder if curator is part of the deal?
Here's my ladder prediction
Tallangatta
St pats
Wodonga
Lavington
East
Belvoir
Albury
Nth
New city
Raiders
I haven't seen the draw yet so there may be a small adjustment

I'd be guessing if that kind of money is being paid there would be a curator job involved.

Anyone tell me where I could find a fixture?
I've heard Raiders import has fallen through.

Anymore news on player movements? McCormack will be handy for Belvior.
Dylan Weeding has been training at Lavington.

Dylan Weeding at Lavington???

Anyone got a read on what has happened at East Albury over the last couple of months?

McNeil- Melbourne
Hanlon- Melbourne
Bridle- Melbourne
Popko- Albury
Jones- Barny Chiltern
Weeding- Lavington???

Believe they have one coming not real flash but have heard raiders have sacked their coach.....

Not sure if true about Marmo and Raiders but something isn't right? Will stay or go looking for another club ? Just wondering if Bull Harvey is back again this year? Could be a battle for wooden spoon between Raiders and East? They have lost a fair bit of talent if true.

From what I've heard its Jarryd Weeding at Lavi training. As for Dylan, rumour has it he may not play after returning from England.
Any heard if East Albury are getting any imports? Looks like they'll need them!

Harvey wont be back. Marmo as far as i know still owes bull money from last year for his part

Hopefully for East Albury they can use this as time to blood some good youngsters in Caleb Barras, Shaun McDonald, Nick Brown, and Harrison Hunter.

BREAKING
Marmo has signed at Baranduda Cricket Club for the 2015/2016 season.
He was spotted at the Rangers training last night and will play a big role for Baranduda.

Thoughts?
