NMCA 21/22

Nmca is back this weekend !!!
I don’t understand why it’s been rushed back the first week of January terrible organisation, most people are trying to enjoy their holidays after a long year.
common sense isn’t common anymore .
Take em to court see if you can get an injunction to start a week later.
Seriously Is there anything else you muppets wanna sook about?

Cmon Simmsy, give us just a lil bit of positivity.

Id much rather come back this week with a 1dayer than a saturday/Sunday 2dayer like the neighbours.

One more week Lou that’s all I’m asking for I think it’s reasonable .
Obviously It can’t change now but hopefully next season there’s more flexibility.
A lot of clubs generally struggle to fill teams this time of year one more week would be ideal for most clubs .
that’s my rant anyway each to there own

Blair Dawson, once again proved to the doubters why he the best batter in the comp, he simply sums up the situation & makes batting look so simple, they have plenty of fire power & just may be the team to watch.
If he ends up like his dad, he is going to be one hell of a player .

Not much competition in the NMCA…Proved this in his short stint with the bankers in the valley. Would not be surprised if he goes back to back to back hundreds in the remaining two day games.

Some big results in last 1dayer of the year

Jika
Camrea with a big win over Trinners
KP with a big loss to kooks who go to the top
OI not convincing but move up to 3rd with their win

Quick
Dennis recovered from 5/44 to win against a plucky strathy who will take alot from their 2 games
Fiji with a bad slip up against bellfield who some breathing space in relegation battle
Cameron's season looks to be over after losing to Trinners 2nds. Some big questions need to asked down there.
Donath were in deep trouble against Fairfield but grinded their way to 170. The bloods haven't won since rd1 & no face prospect of going down to Kelly

Kelly
Colts survived a scare with their bowlers doing the job against OI
Rivergum flexed some muscle rolling strathy for 34
Socials are starting 2 click & could be the dark horse late in year
Massive result for Mavericks against an up & down Sharks

Back to real cricket this weekend, gonna be an interesting run home to finals

Sassole out

Any news on how the NMCA meeting went with the Presidents last night?
My sources are telling me that Donald Trump has made contact with the NMCA board to see if they can run his 2024 Presidential election campaign.

While I am at it,

Great to see the brains trust at the NMCA finally update the A grade ladder.
Word is that an agreement between Camrea and the NMCA needed to be signed prior to this happening.
I am sure that the member clubs have a copy of this document as transparency is very important to the board.

Anyway, there have been a few rumblings in club land about the points awarded for the Round 8 washout on December 9. Baseballers were on a bye (the first of 2 byes) and have been allocated 6 points for the round. The rest of the teams in all grades received the standard 3 points due to the washout.

The executive need to fix this in the already compromised fixture we have by awarding Baseballers 3 points like every other team for the round. Surely the tree huggers can see this is not fair and let me tell you the tree huggers love fairness.
Maybe there is someone on the board who doesn't like this idea?

Are we still going on about all this?

It's over & done with, your back in & a massive show to be there at pointy end of season.

Let's just focus on an exciting final 4 rounds coz all clubs are still a chance for finals.

Could be the last season of NMCA as we know it with all the chatter about a few moving to DVCA next year to fill up their Mash Shield.

Maybe u can step up & save the joint coz u seem like u have all the great ideas.

Bring on Saturday as the 2dayers usually separate the men from the boys.

Luigi,

I thought I raised a couple of good points that hadn't been raised on this forum before but obviously not to your liking.
You seem to me to be a bit of a buck passer, asking others to fix up the mess most likely created by you or people associated with you.

So you tell me Camrea is back in and I should just sweep everything under the carpet and move on. And then you have the gall to tell me our club is a massive show to be there at the pointy end of the season as if it was like taking a walk in the park. Can you actually comprehend how we could possibly be a chance with all the shit we have had to deal with before and during the season?

Let me tell you what an amazing board and membership Camrea has, could you imagine a club fighting for its life everyday since April last year, not knowing if it was going to play this season, trying to hold a club together whilst it was relentlessly pursued by a board that was determined to destroy it.

I will now quote my good friend "The Chairman" with one of his favorite sayings; "you can all GAGF".

The points issue, I dont have an issue with. We all no the rules around that, baseballers just lucked in with it. Don't think it will matter much in long run.

No1 wants me near the board, can barely run my own life let alone an association.

From what I'm being told by my club, it looks like a few currently on board will be stepping down, so unless some1 steps up, we could find ourselves back to the good ol days with delegates from each club running competition.

You blokes have a massive game v KP this week as it will set the season up for the winner.

I've always said that you let your cricket do your talking, as that's the best way shut people up.

I hope we can in time move forward & build a strong competition but it's looking likely that we will lose clubs ( at least 2 jika teams looking to move) due to all of this which is gonna be a massive issue.

Not sure how my club will survive all this but we will just do the best we can I guess.

Camrea vs keon park only game not live scored in the top grade today , should get the legal team to pay a scorer
“Should get the legal team to pay a scorer “
You don’t even make sense, is that your attempt at humour.
Give it up champ honestly it’s getting old and you don’t make sense .
