Re: The Yips To update, quicker than I thought I would, he did suffer a car accident a few weeks before xmas, which left him a bit shaken (car went into his passenger side door, wrote off his car etc). Would this be a potential cause?

Re: England in New Zealand Not really to be honest, all I know is that its a drop in pitch and the kiwis are understrength due to the retirements. Poms must be slight favourites if nothing else.

Re: The Yips He teaches history, so not much to do with his hands. Hard to say about it affecting any other part of his life. he seems ok in general, still turns up to the matches although he tends to hang in the background more, very quiet, when he used to be up there 'leading' the team...

Re: You're the Captain - what would you do! Hope i do this right. I would spread the field in order to try to stop any 4's and 6's. Rotate the bowling attack in order to try to unsettle the batting side (they are very setteld by the sonds of it) and maybe keep the spinner and part time spin on...

Re: I want To increas my bowling speed i see no reason why you can't go with both. you may have to pick one to concentrate on but there is no harm in practacing both. Symonds bowls a bit of everything after all and look where that got him!

Re: Leg Spin As above get it above eye level, pitching on a good length. If you can tempt the batsman to drive you have a really good chance of success. Curve or dip is the thing that will help bring the ball down, so practice getting a good rip.
