without that lucky late hitting u were under 100...maybe the scotch tail can teach the top order how to bat. all credit goes to to macmillan who made runs

you say without that innings (sed mcconachie in newpaper btw u **************)....the fact is the innings happened. and u coodnt get parisi out i assume for a long time...good on the scotch boys for showing some grit when they were down...maybe you should try it for a change instead of having a sook!!!

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

any chance of brighton winning a game?

all this stuff about scotch and caulfield and haileybury not being real scholls (ill correct you there symoisagun - "schools"). i mean really, its schools like BGS that make the world worse. whats the point of not having some scholarships if all the other schools are doing it? just so you get hammered every week but can "proudly" say 'we dont have any scholarships like you, you unreal school'

get on the ball and get some scholarships to help out your sturggling cricket team.

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

Geelong college knocked off Xavier, henderson really coming out of his shell with 47 back up the 56* the week before its a shame he cant play the scotch game and Bertie weddell with a captains knock of 65* these two getting us across the line from the brink of 5/50 odd, finishing at 6/176 to chase Xavier's 175, another great win for us putting us right in the mix.... thoughts?

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

It was a good effort by the college, but they always had the upper hand, when u get a wicket 2nd ball of the game (Molan) normally u'd be going fairly well,
In the college innings there were some um- questionable decisions. A stumping (ordinary appeal was the savouir), a caught behind off cosgrave from Henderson when on 6, before launching cosgrave over the scoreboard. And a supposeded half chance of the college skipper, which Molan dropped, although sources tell me the umpire was going to give it out, even though he didn't actually hit it, but hey thats APS umpires for you!

only a gimp from scotch would think parisi is quick

i seem to remember one of ur little beaners getting caught by a guy under the helmet jumping away from a slow hack part timer. its a shame parisi was injured in the 2nd innings and couldnt scare any of the midgets in brighton. and u say ur captain batted well in the 2nd innings?? Mo scored more runs then him and didnt make himself look like a ************** by playing some of the worst shots anyone has ever seen... ever! brighton cant say anything about scotch they got totally dominated even tho scotch probably played their worst game of the season, on ur home ground with the smallest boundries in the aps u couldnt even reach 140... disgraceful

about XC having a chance of beating HC later on in the season, im not so sure. it could go either way. williamson (HC player) said today that XC werent really any better or worse than HC. he played against them for vic side.

it would be a different story if pattinson was playing/bowling.

i know HC is undefeated, is their a ladder somewhere? i wonder... who else is up there?

yep,
HC
Scotch
XC
Geelong College
and yeh, thats all i no

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

Think you wil find MGS is 3rd at the moment if you look at the ladder.

Wheres the ladder?

how should i no where ur ladder is, mine is in the shed on the right, u probly should try looking there, and if not well, u mighnt even have a ladder. We only use our ladder cos we have to clear the gutters on our roof, so if you dont have that problem u mightnt need a ladder, but wat happens if your cat gets stuck up a tree? then u would need a ladder, or just a realy big person. but then wat happens if u didnt have a cat or really really big person, well ur dog could get stuck up there, but then again dogs arent that athelic, so they probly wouldnt be able to get caught up a tree, but maybe if there was some kind of super dog, it might be that athletic to get up that high, but if it was soo athletic, it might be able to get itsself down from a tree. so wat im trying to get across to u, is that im pretty sure that u would have a ladder, as it is essential to complete the tasks mentioned above, and if u dont have one, feel free to pop round later and you can borrow mine, but only for a couple of hours though, cos u never no wat my cat, whose name happens to be 'mittens' or my super athletico dog, might get UP to....
