Champions Trophy - Australia vs West Indies at Mumbai (BS)

Re: Champions Trophy - Australia vs West Indies at Mumbai (BS)

Not good enough by the boys, we bowled well early but Lara the master and the impressive Morton kept them in it but still I thought not enough to trouble us withtheir bowling but low and behold we struggled thats for sure. Gilly was good but bar that we weren't too impressive, Clarke had the chance to show them up but he went into his shell and was destroyed, Gayle intimidated him, to make 47 off 90 odd wasn't great.

Jerome Taylor was sensational, great game by him and the Windies really showed after their disappointment against the Lankans that they can match it with anyone on their day. We must win our next match to keep in contention.

It's so funny that Runako Morton was Man of the Match with 90*, when he recently set the record for the slowest ODI duck ever. No one has ever faced as many balls in an ODI and been dismissed without scoring as Morton has.

he was worried about clarke and gilchrist finishing the game of without getting out and tried to upset clarke but it backfired all i could hear was clarke saying something like show some heart or something ???

but gayle should have been suspended or fined for giving clarke a bit of a nudge ! i dont mind a bit of mouth but as soon as he touched him

Looks like Gayle is paying the price of of his antics.

Gayle's animated performance cost him 30 percent of his match fee
Chris Gayle, the West Indies allrounder, has been fined 30 percent of his match fee following an incident with Michael Clarke during yesterday's one-dayer against Australia in Mumbai.

What a joke, WIndies are terrible and we lost against them.

Taylor a hat-trick, what a joke.

West Indies seem to match up very well with Australia right now. 2-2 in the last 4 matches, and one of those losses should have actually been a third win.
