haven't some of these players already played in a previous match?
looks like a pretty strong team, not sure if van beal should be in there though, maybe a jayden shireff or brad gedge instead?

they have picked players who have played so they can get a better look at them.
there were some unlucky people not to get picked.

yeh, the keepers at the tryouts wernt that good, there were a few edges droped and and ones that have gone through, they only took 2 of the guys from the tryout into the game on sunday

bradley gedge was stiff to miss out, if anyone was down there what are your opinions of brad? Also anyone got reports from the falcons game?

yeah i got told ryan mclaughlin was pretty unlucky to not get picked in the side

We played him on the weekend and he was struggling facing the likes of Reidy and Cisek. So there is your answer.

Nd the falcons game i have heard that Ben Abbatangello tonned up, but not 100% sure

LOUIS SMITH - thoughts? i think this kid had arms the size of tree trunks ... but on a more serious note this kid can definatley play cricket.. he holds the bat well and can bowl his right arm slinga malinga gas.. he also has the abiity to keep well.. and is no noodle arm like dylan potter

Even poorer playing with him, lol. Made a very quick for him but scrappy 50 against Lower Plenty, but thats about it i believe ???

games this weekend 16(1) teal


eltham v bundoora- bundoora to strong in all aspects.

whitlesea v mill park- mill park's better players to get them over the line.

diamond creek v lower plenty- creek to win easily.

north eltham v thomastown- new to get a big win

plenty v riverside- plenty to get over the line. A game that show where riverside are against the better sides in the competition

players to watch for this week:
Mitch Taplin -shorely due for some runs in juniors
Duckworth - will back up his 50 against a weaker TT attack
N.Smith - can dish out a bit here but can he back it up against a determined DC?
Kett and Donaldson - opening combination due for some runs
Diamond Creek - will want to fire after a disapointing week last week

Thoughts?

Ben did ton up
Central Highlanders made 260 and Falcons only made 210 of those
Well Done to Ben it was a great knock

I definately agree there Magooey. Yeah Niall Smith loves to pay out on people (rusty21, Smith is Back, all day!) when noone knows its him. But now we do know its him, and heres some advice, Try and improve on the ten runs you've made in your last 3 digs.

Other than that, Duckworth,Ketty, Taplin and the entire creek team will grind out stellar performances this week. I agree.
