Eca 2011/2012

GI v Bulleen -GI at home
Marcellin v RC - not sure who... will go RC in a very tight one
Ashy v MA - Ashy to good on this occasion, will end MA's chances of a late comeback to the 4.
St Kev v Mulgrave - Mulgrave to win
ED v Deepdene - Deepdene easily
Hawthorn v Boronia - Hawks.

XXXX - as usual you are taking the p*ss out of this forum. half the players don't even play in dunstan.. or certainly would be up for consideration as good T20 players. Hasn't there been enough said about slack from mulgrave? obviously you are a friend of his and just trying to get his name up on the forum or something.

GI v Bulleen - Predicting a wash out with GI's batting to score quickly in the one-dayer next week
Marcellin v RC - Marc showing decent form without reward
Ashy v MA - Not sure what is going on down at MA at the moment... Just untippable.
Skevs v Mulgrave - Seems to be a bit of supporting mounting for skevs so I'll jump on the band wagon
ED v Deepdene - Will keeping winning before bombing out in the finals
Hawthorn v Boronia - Tight match. Haw in a coin flip and home group advantage

Ok, with T20 comp starting next week, who are the players that are born to play this style of cricket? My gems are:

Big Dino (Deep)
Dineen (Marc)
Blood (StK)
M Thompson (ED)
Torriero (Haw)
Slack (Mulg)
Male (Burw)
Voor Haar (RC)
Patel (MA)
Blennerhassett (Bor)
Swift (Ash)
Hoare (Deep)
L Sturgess (Deep)
Dent (RC)
Alev (Mulg)
Merry (Old C)

Good topic, crap list! Your list just consists of oldies who aren't playing anymore or predicatables.

The topic/list should be about smokey's from teams that might explode in the 20/20 comp and surprise everyone!

Remember XXXX has no idea about cricket. Last week he was paying out Luke Sturgess now he loves him. Blood hasn't played for 5 years, Dent lives in sydney, Dineen is injured. I am surprised he didn't put his best mate Slack in there

I would love to find out who he is. My prediction is that he doesn't even play anymore.

My tips are
GI - Bulleen - GI as Bulleen are struggling
Marcellin v RC - close game, RC just
Ash v MA - Ashburton to good
St Kev - Mulgrave - Mulgrave should
ED v Deepdene - up and down wicket there, East Donny are my smokey
Hawthorn v Boronia - Hawthorn at home = Tongue runs

Yep fully agree half those blokes are gone or hacks, Voor Haar is a joke but i do reckon big Dino is a 20/20 specialist, he won't get tired after 4 overs and can hit the hardest ball i have seen in this comp

GI - Bulleen - no spud = GI
Marcellin v RC - only because they are my team
Ash v MA - Ashy at home
St Kev - Mulgrave - toss of coin
ED v Deepdene - bears have done everything asked of them so far
Hawthorn v Boronia - Hawks playing good cricket and are at home.

Bob & I are either really good, or really, really bad. Only people to tip Bull and MA, traditionally strong sides. Time will tell!

Well I am equal top of the tipping, so that means we know what we are on about. Great minds think alike!
Just can't write off teams who have been strong for years. Just take geelong 2010 for an example

Melbourne area

Cloudy. Rain, easing to scattered showers during the morning then turning to rain again at night. The chance of thunderstorms. Winds south to southwesterly averaging up to 20 km/h tending west to southwesterly up to 35 km/h by early evening.

Does that mean that the rain is going around the cricket? If so, thankyou.
