They'll be no dog beating around here. You're only as good as your last series and at the moment Pakistan aren't that good.
Well, the game petered out to a draw, some time at the crease for most of the main batsman. Bowling could be a slight worry but I' sure more time on the pitch will sort them out.

In all honesty, if we're getting 500 past us then we aren't prepared.
In all honesty, on these pitches i cant look any further than a Murali mauling, but then again, if Monty can show his true form, we could just turn it around.
I hope Sidebottom gets the chance, as i think on these conditions he could show his true self, it isn't easy for Medium Fast/Fast Medium on these wickets, but you tend to find early on and late on the ball will swing due to the conditions becoming a little bit "wetter."

no they are not, pakistan have beaten them easily and will do so again
what talent have you in the england team? nothing, only maybe freddie would get into our team but we have afridi who is just as good
your batting is week, compared to younis and yousuf, as is your bowling, all medium rubbish
you is the one who need to get real

We beat you in the last series and are ranked ahead of you.Talent wise we have Cook and Broad who are coming through the ranks and already in the International set up.You may have Younis and Yousuf but we have Pietersen and Vaughan who on there day can match these two.Your pace bowlers need steroids to keep them going.Whatever your argument just look at the rankings this will tell you all you need to no.

Pakistan may well be the better Test team but will not ever beat England 'easily'.
England have a lot of talent. Arguably more than Pakistan. Alistair Cook is rated by many as the next big thing with the bat and with the ball, Monty Panesar has dismissed some of the finest players of spin. Calling Afridi just as good as Flintoff is rubbish too. Afridi cannot get into Pakistan's Test team, Flintoff would waltz in.
'Medium rubbish'? England have Anderson who has touched 90mph this summer, Sidebottom who has also touched 90mph this summer, Flintoff who does it often and Hoggard who is arguably among the worlds best swing bowlers, or was a few years back.
