Group B - Bangladesh v India

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

yes, if they can hold on to their wickets they definitely will take it

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

i hope Bermuda is paying CLOSE attention to these teams

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

134-3 after 31.5 overs

Bangladesh need 58 more runs with a healthy amount of both wickets and overs remaining.
Things are looking good here!

Tamim out for 51
A great contribution from him today though!
If either Aftab, Saqibul, or Habibul can equal it, Bangladesh will win.
Saqibul is up to 39 right now, and looking very good out there. If he can hang around for another 5 overs, he'll get his 50 and might get them to a winning position.

Bermuda will never be as good as either team. It's simply not possible when India has a billion people, Bangladesh has 150 million, and Bermuda has 50 thousand.

Today is minnows day it seems.
Bangladesh shouldn't be called minnows anymore. They've been a growing team for the past year or two, and support for cricket in Bangladesh is far stronger than it is in some of the other test countries.

And the youth on their team is just astounding. They've arrived and their players will be around for a long long time.

That is so true, no denying that, i was thinking in terms of them learning from these teams, picking up tips , see how they bat, move the ball, fielding, etc etc etc

I totally agree, tell that to the press and the "elite" test teams, because they still want to refer to them as minnows

That's what makes it so special for Bermuda to compete because we're the smallest country there, a good experience. People that never heard of Bermuda before will not forget that name. Our name will also be in the record books.

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

155/3 after 36, they could be a bit more aggresive , they have plenty of wickets and overs left to go all out.

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

Sakib gets his half century!!

161-3 after 38 overs, they only need 31 more runs!!

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

Saqibul comes down the track to go for a big shot and misses, and can't get back before he's stumped.

He's out for 53.
Bangladesh 163-4

But Bangladesh only need 29 more runs now.
They'll still win from here.

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

Bashar stumped just like Saqibul.

175-5, they still need 17 runs from 7.4 overs

that comment was tongue in cheek ;)

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

I hope they can hang on for the last 8 overs

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

10 more runs needed!!
182/5 after 44 overs

Re: Group B - Bangladesh v India

185/5 after 45 overs
7 more runs needed/ this is a perfect time for a big six
