i think today will knock out any chance of play, constant drizzle like what is going on at the moment is deadly

which teams are praying for rain? i would say ashy, canterbury, richmond city

other games are quite even

I think Ashy are the big one's. They only risk going out of the 4 if they lose and they'd be chasing a big score on an underprepared wicket. Bulleen would love to get on, I'm sure. We'd love to get on. Mulgrave would love to get on. GI and Haw need to get on. And NB would definitely love to get on - they could get out of the cellar.

Looking at the fixture Glen Iris have been the team dealt the worst cards. Washed out against Rich City and only needed
150 against Hawthorn tomorrow. Ashy and ED can count themselves lucky.

Where is building building this site is getting very boring and pedestrian without the King sledger.
 
Moorabbin West Cricket Club Senior Coach

Applications are sought for the position of senior coach, playing or non playing.

Moorabbin West is seeking a coach to assist with their goal to move back into the Longmuir grade of the CMCA competition. The club has four senior teams ranging from Woolnough to D grade to F grade and our development team in I grade. We have won the runners up pennant for the previous three seasons in Woolnough and wish to get past the final hurdle to return to the top grade, Longmuir. Our third XI has also had recent success of the I grade flag in 2007/08 and the G grade flag in 2008/09.

The successful applicant should possess the following characteristics:
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of the game
- Good communication skills
- Flexible nature
- Strong will to succeed
- Team attributes
- Willingness to work with the committee in achieving goals

I agree with everything you said, Magpie. First time for everything! Glen Iris will miss the finals, which is disappointing for them.
