Mash Shield 2017/18

What the hell happened the invincibles in D Grade. Lost only one home and away game in two seasons, then choke. Over the weekend they lost 18 for 99 before the umpires pulled up stumps to save Lower from even more embarrassment. Need a good hard look at themselves.

Saw some of the B grade match between Epping and Mernda, Tinsley was bowling some heat. Don't think they can beat Riverside though.

also the match will be played at whatmough 1 which has the flat pitch that ll negate the bounce of tinsley. What happened to your boys in B grade this year? Just one of those years?

We suffered some retirements and unavailability issues right before the season started (had to withdraw the G grade side as a result). I think it stripped a bit too much experience out of the 2's in particular this year, it was quite a young side, especially the start of the season. They did get going as a team later in the season with some good wins, it also helped that a few blokes became available, but it was just too late.

Trent Wellington a class act, messaging Hurstbridge players on Facebook at 3am calling them ********, what a man

Always interesting to hear two sides. No idea if what you're saying is true, but my mail (not from Trent) was that when shaking hands after the game a player called him a CUnext Tuesday.

Have also heard that there were a number of racist and abusive comments made directly at Greensborough batsmen last week. Not to mention players threatening to "punch the F out" of Greensborough supporters after the 1st days play, in front of females and children. Class act

You'd expect a few people to have to answer to the tribunal if that's the case. Racial vilification costs years, not weeks.

Only if an official complaint is made. And i'd suggest there may be a few nervous Hurstbridge players awaiting a "please explain" from the executive in the coming days.

If anyone from hb has any questions to answer or gets in any trouble then then Wellington and Cunningham might miss the next few years the way they handled themselves over the last fortnight

When every party has something to lose by raising a complaint; the best thing would be for both parties to say nothing at all :thumbsu:

It will be between laurimar pantonhill and South Morang
Done a fair bit of recruiting have Laurimar with Body and I think Mitchell from LE to name a couple. Imagine PH will be as per last season and up there. I suppose the elephant in the room may be Research, understand that Malone has committed to play and Sassella will be handy at that level but obviously have lost Burton.
