I agree with your point, however if thats the case then the BCCI should make sure that India use the system properly. Their rejection to a fairer system of umpiring is causing them to lose any goodwill they have in international cricket.

A player like Chris Gayle can never have his future doubted. It is West Indies Cricket Board that will the one to lose out. Due to internal politics they have sidelined Chris Gayle for far too long. The recent win in the 4th ODI proves how much they need Chris Gayle in the team.
Once again the BCCI has shown that its not going to go with the majority. Pretty much everyone is in support of a system that will make decision making more transparent in a game.
