What a tremendous day and a tremendous atmosphere. Tim Wise was something else this year. Macleod looked lost once he went out just after lunch but Rob Wise stepped up and hung around and nudged them. Tremendous season by both clubs.

I don’t think any team from that competition would make it out of Money Shield. Some would never make it out of Mash shield. And if there are no juniors then they cannot join.

I believe play has to continue until the tea break or is that just for games throughout the season?

Camrea have applied to join DVCA and are in the NMCA final.. if approved to join are they into Mash Shield and potentially the B grade Premiers Epping can join them in Mash Shield?

Remarkable effort in back to back weeks. He has single handedly put his team into a winning position. There have been a few times over the last couple of years Bundoora Utd have been bowled out for low scores. Definitely in the drivers seat but it is a grand final!

It will be interesting to see what happens next season if clubs come across from North Metro as some apparently have applied. a 4th Shield would need to be instated. Maybe it could be called the Flemming Shield. Personally need to see better equalization throughout Barclay & Money Shield...

I should have worded my statement better - disaster ending to the season for Epping, not the overall season. Losing 3 out of their last 4 games in the season to drop from top spot to an away final and then to lose that game as well. It can happen in cricket - I look at that team and they are not...

I have heard multiple times this season that Bundoora have paid the most money out to players.

A disastrous end to the season for Epping. Really thought they could chase that target down. Maybe the time in the field on Saturday impacted their batting. Guessing they will be back with the same side next year just hoping for better results.
