Can I be one of the first people to say how really saddened we all are that the Mighty Riverside CC has to suffer the indignity of being RELEGATED.
I’m sure all will join me in passing on our best for the future, and good luck keeping players Who left their previous clubs for Premiership success ,especially those players that were Captains of those former clubs.
It’s quite ironic the you”ll now be playing in MONEY SHIELD 😂😂😂

Will they be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat & lodge a protest on 3 teams getting relegated. I’m sure they’ll find a way.
I’m sure heads will roll for getting the club in this position. Captain for one deserves immediate termination.

Does anyone sense the wheels in motion as we speak ? Surely they just have to accept what has occurred and get busy trying to get back up to the top tier next season.
On a side note, congratulations to Macleod for qualifying under extraordinary circumstances - they havent played a game at home for 3 seasons in a row yet continue to defy the odds. Couple of handy ins next week for them. They’ve got nothing to lose next week against their old sparing partner. Also, Epping just get it done again despite all the doomsdayers. Whodathought ?

As easy as it would be to jump on the bandwagon and a bag Riverside for getting relegated, I think Epping should be forced to play a second eleven in 2 day cricket. If they can’t commit then they should be relegated.

It’s a joke that their seconds are playing G2 one day comp. Not even G1!🤦🏻

If that happened the Riverside would still be relegated. BU would be saved.

Any of the 4 can win it in my opinion and i wouldnt be one bit surprised.

Fair call brutal. Epping should be under the microscope on this. All credit to them for for making finals, but they are hanging on by a thread.
Anyone can win Barclay this year which is great for the comp. DC are a real threat as are Macleod with the wise bros. Get Sheehan out & Rosanna are very vulnerable. Pingers have a couple of match winners so don’t write them off.
Back on riverside & it must be said that everyone you speak to including umpires & everyone says the same. They are rude & feral when they swim against the tide. Look at what happened at Bundy utd a few weeks ago. A Bundy player gets reported & not one Riverside player gets reported, when you can see from frogbox exactly what goes on. This behaviour has been going on for years & they get rewarded by winning spirit if cricket award last year. So they feel they’re untouchable & get away with murder. You should have heard the sniggers at Presi night last year when they received the award. It Makes a mockery of the award & stinks of favouritism.
Wake up Valley, the standard & participation of cricket is on the decline & its up the the board to improve it. They have a paid cricket manager & seem to kick plenty of own goals. Look at the heat rule of a few weeks ago, geez they made a mess of that. They actually when against they’re own rules on 2 separate occasions when every other comps in Melbourne abandoned they day the night before.
