    Some Questions...

For my release I try and concentrate on what Shane Warne says about having the back of your hand facing you, Also I believe my wrist is still cocked on release, I am not sure about that, if so, is this why the balls seam is not perfectly rotating and spins strangely? That's not very well put but...

    Some Questions...

These questions are all related to Leg Spin: 1.How important is the arm speed in creating revolutions on the ball? 2. How to spin the ball hard and not lose flight/ a nice speed? 3. How important is pivoting at the right time? 4. Will bowling slower be easier to get into rhythm and spin the...

    Please Help Me!

This is a two way post, 2 questions: 1. How can I stop bowling short balls/drag downs? And why do I bowl them? I bowl them to frequently. 2. How to bowl more genuine leg spinners? I think @Cleanprophet has the same problem as me in that we both bowl leg spinners with more top spin then side...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I have been discussing this on my blog, I found that if I lent towards my left after pulling my arm down I produced some good accurate leg spinners! My sister came to the match this week and likes to take action shots so I have chosen around 7 that shows my run up, position at the crease, the...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I guess so, as I don't have to spin it up as such to get it down the other end, but I still do, meaning I bowl full tosses.

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I have adjusted my run up now, as in my opinion and probably many peoples opinion is that the reason for a bad ball is something that has gone wrong in the run up, I have started walking through from 4 yards, and also going from 2-3, this is to try and enhance my follow through and getting used...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I was only about 5ft 3 last year at 16, I am now 5ft 8, so still not tall but a lot taller then what I was. Last year I took a hat trick, all 3 wickets bowled, One around the batsmans legs and then the other two pitching middle and leg and hitting off stump, I thought I would be able to bowl...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I also love to watch videos from people like Robelinda, legbreakgoogly etc, there are two videos simply called Warne and Macgill which shows all views of their bowling, its also nice to watch 52 mins of a Warne spell on his channel, shows that Warnie didnt bowl a magical ball every ball and does...

    Wrist Spin Bowling (part Five)

I never have my foot flat on the ground as I always land on my toes, which is because of my very high arm ( You will see on my youtube videos It is neaely behind my head) This means less rotation for me, however this has its advantages like a well disguised top spinner and my googly. Tomorrow...

    Mason Crane

    What do you guys think of the 18 year old Hampshire spinner Mason Crane? Good action, accurate, turns the ball a long way. Future prospect for England? Good video of him here;

Watch this from 6:40, This explains it. It is mainly a backspin, as the ball doesnt turn and the seam isnt angled at any direction to spin it. You will not the seam position at around 7:51. Hope this helps.
