I see they are proposing to remove the 50% rule for adverse conditions in a round. A good move, if you can get a game in you should, regardless of the other matches.
However, I don't agree with the proposal to allow a team batting second to forfeit the overs left in day 1 if there is 3 or more...
It probably should have been 2 up, 2 down since they brought in the promotion/relegation tiers. You might find that would have sorted out the grades a bit faster. If you brought that in now it might take another 5-6 seasons to get to where we should be, so perhaps a complete evaluation and...
Since you find what I wrote incoherent I can understand why you confine your responses to movie quotes. Thinking is hard, but keep trying I'm sure you'll do better next time.
No point in bagging blokes for chasing some coin. If clubs are silly enough to continue to throw it guys who are, no offense, nothing but slightly above average club cricketers, why wouldn't they take it up?
There'd still be whinging about those who work Saturday mornings, wouldn't matter how much notice you give. For 1 game though, is it really worth it? Would the lower grades actually turn up or just go home early? Plenty of time to watch local cricket when you retire.
But in reality only the single blokes turn up because everyone else has their missus breathing down their neck about being at the cricket club for two days straight.

Perhaps he doesn't believe that the population of Bundoora is sufficient to make it worthwhile having another club join from the area. There's already 3 in the suburb (Bundoora, Bundoora United and now Old Paradians). Considering I can count on one hand the amount of BU senior players that...
I don't believe you are bound by your constitution these days as you once were (unless the rules around it have changed again). You can pretty much do what you like, provided it is legal.
