    VTCA Cricket - General Chat

Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat With the northern clubs dominating the VTCA, I think it's clear that cash makes a successful team.

Re: South A & B Anyone got a prediction for the top 4 this coming season? Difficult with the two divisions merging but Brighton District and Bentleigh appear to be looking good.

    South Division 2009/10

Re: South A & B What's the reason for Murrumbeena finishing 4th last season and being promoted to the new South Division when Old Menotians finished 2nd and didn't get promoted? Can't understand that one, the top 3 teams in South A last year were head and shoulders clear of the rest.

Re: VTCA Thread Heard Maccabi got rolled with a very young side in. RPB had most of their 1st XI playing. I'm sure it was quite competitive as a Maccabi fixture always is! As for Spotty beating SCCC because the Russell's are out - no chance.

Re: VTCA Thread You're right North, enough on Lamb. Results Vault shows that he batted in the top 4 a little bit at Melbourne. I think you'll find he's a very decent chap when you get him away from the cricket field. Sounds like he might have hit Southern Sledge over the fence a few...

Re: VTCA Thread Fair chance the hammerhead is from Doutta considering he's named two doutta blokes in the top four players! Baker is a champion but no doubt he cashes in on the flat tracks. Having said that he makes most of his runs as an opener which I think cancels the flat track factor...
