Re: Underrated cricketers from your team
Will Payne wasn't even selected for Casey in any eleven before the start of the season. They have won 1 out of 24 games so how well is he going? Also he packs his dacks when a semi-quick bowler charges in. And i don't know how Will Ryan is underated that...
Re: New Kids on the Block (07-08)
Mate you are forgetting 3 victorian players. L.J Edwards, Seb Gotch and Jordy Wyatt. Good side for next year and good recruiting from Kenny.
Re: APS: Best Batsmen
Dan curtain hasn't played any rep cricket so how is he the best in the aps? Wakefield wiht his head on the job is head and shoulders above any other bat going around.
Re: New Kids on the Block (07-08)
Got some news today that CGS are also recruiting L.J Edwards, Seb Gotch as well as Jordy Wyatt to their lineup next year. Add them to Everitt and handel and theres are a premiership side in 08-09
Lord Tavereners Cup
Again the bloods will represent the APS to another state title. Can you think of a better side ever represented in this comp (besides HC last year).
Remember this side will consist of:
Patto
Lynch
Wakefield Twins
Marto
Lethal Heinrichs
Williamson
Tormey
Jackson...
New Kids on the Block (07-08)
Just wanna know who are th upcomers form all the schools.
So far i got
CGS= Lloyd Everitt, Robbie Handel and Jordy Wyatt next year
MGS= Bettsy, Keathy
XC= Will Ryan (no one else)
HC= Jarryd Williamson
BGS= Nath Plumridge, Michael Singh, Jack Moffit...
Re: Scotch Vs Caulfield
Lets hope so. At least now they are no chance of outright. That is great news seeing as though they need an outright to possibly win the flag
Re: Best APS fielders
Haven't you blokes seen HC field we've got at least 5 guns in the field. Wakefiled, Heinrichs, Jackson, Tormey, Martin are all in the top 10 in the comp. Then we have got some of the worst fielders like Keating and Haining.
Re: APS Squad - Your Final Team
Thats total BS he is back for the last round. He didn't want to make is back injury serious so he didn't bowl against BGS. It doesn't matter anyway we've got the premiership wrapped up.
Re: Best bats in the APS
That bloke could have effectively lost scotch the premiership because of his 5run outs and also because of his slow batting. He put alot of pressure on the middle order like Forbes to score quickly eventhough the total was reasonably low
Re: APS Squad - Your Final Team
Why hasn't anyone put Tom Lynch in their best side. Even though no one likes him his stats don't lie. He has got over 30 wickets and around 250 runs including three ducks in a row
Re: Scholorships in APS
I agree heat with the girls on scholarships stuff. It is a new school and the government is paying along with HC for these scholarships.
Re: Xavier XI in two years
You blokes at XC take note. There is only one good year 9 or 10 at your school and his name is Will Ryan. Great bat, Good fielder, Capable Bowler and is the only bloke to be picked from Xavier in the Vic Under 15 side. So stop pumping up blokes like McGorian and...
APS: 2008/09 Season
What are everyones thoughts about the APS in 2 years time with some of the up and coming talent in the year 9 and 10 sides?
CGS-Everitt, Handel
MGS- Betts, Keath
XC- Ryan, Goss, Curtain
St.K- Griffiths
HC-Williamson
Re: Most Overated APS player
Dale Tormey's bowling last weekend was sub-standard. He was consistently smashed. But in fairness to him he was let down by some bad fielding from williamson and wakefield. But he still went for 6 an over
Re: Max Wakefield
Great to see him back and good to see he hasn't lost any of his touch with the bat either. He was slapping all of the HC blokes around at training (or should i say a hit and giggle session).
Re: APS Batsmen in the best form
Most of HC's batting line up is in form. From no. 1-9 we can be confident that they will do the job. That is why we have past sides all year 3, 4 or 5 down with little pressure. That isn't bad for a side full of bowling all-rounders.
