Made my first ever 50 Saturday morning opening the batting. Got some free off season training thanks to a program by my cricket club.
Basically got rid of my trigger movement, made me stand a bit taller and hinge my shoulders properly. Also general weight transfer stuff.
Outside edged the ball...
Definitely some shit performances.
But the difference between the pitch at the end of day 2 and the pitch on day 3 is laughable. They put a steam roller over it.
Slightly different for Green I feel given this is literally his first international game back from a major time out of the game, batting out of position and on a pitch that’s pretty much impossible as a top order batsman.
Also way younger than Khawaja. Either way the WI series will probably be...
It was an absolute clinic, some of the best fast bowling I ever watched I reckon.
Starc started off with 3 wobble seamers in exactly the same spot and then swung one in to Markrams off stump.
Honestly the whole day was great bowling.

Over 220,000 tickets sold in the first day of presales. The previous record was 112,000.
SCG is sold out on days 1, 2 and 3.
I definitely know what you’re talking about by the “feeling”, it’s really hard to put a finger on why. Maybe it’s just knowing that you’ve got the batsman under a lot of pressure.
