The BaggyGreens Thread

I’m the biggest Green supporter out there but ******** me knicking off to an off stump half volley is seriously poor.
He'd have put that away two weeks ago in county. Nerves I suppose as batting #3 for first time to my knowledge because selectors stuffed up by not picking Smith there instead.

The ball is seaming a ridiculous amount, we could definitely end up obliterating their line up if it keeps doing this
And our ever reliable bowling triumvirate did just that to have the Saffers reeling at stumps @4/43 and on top. Boy they must have missed the edge a lot given their miserly figures. Even Starc gave away only 10 runs.

It was an absolute clinic, some of the best fast bowling I ever watched I reckon.

Starc started off with 3 wobble seamers in exactly the same spot and then swung one in to Markrams off stump.

Honestly the whole day was great bowling.

Haze robbed by a crap Ultra Edge call.

Now Pattie has Bavuma who was playing rather recklessly. Bedingham is doing a good job. Surprised he has not played Tests earlier.

Cameron Green has had a horror comeback test from his back injury; he could be on the chopping block along with Khawaja who's totally out of form.

Slightly different for Green I feel given this is literally his first international game back from a major time out of the game, batting out of position and on a pitch that’s pretty much impossible as a top order batsman.

Also way younger than Khawaja. Either way the WI series will probably be a much more fair judgement.

Khawaja is 38 now and coming to end of his career, he should pull the pin my opinion he's just about cooked.
