I am running 6 hour..REVEAL ALL... coach education for thoe coaches who want to use ALL my stuff including getting all my clips, all my photos I use and learn exactly how to coach the same way I coach. It's a lifetime's reveal based on how I do it all - in one, jam-packed day. Check...
Those who attended the ECB CA conference this weekend will no doubt be starting to realise the ECB are recognising that what I've been banging on about for years (straight leg, delayed arm etc) are true for increasing pace in fast bowlers. It's taken years of research and involvement of Dr Mark...
Re: Anyone Need Help?
Brilliant question, as all most want to know is who he plays for what cricket he's played and why they haven't heard of him before.
His action is based on a javelin throw, pure and simple - but with a cricket delivery tweak, so therefore his strength and power are...
Re: Anyone Need Help?
Storm..contact 0870 787 4926 and find out what the 1-2-1 coaching costs are through the office. I travel to wherever you are. A 2 hour session is worthwhile if you are serious about wanting a career in the game.
Liz..I DID blush...thanks for that!
Off to South Africa...
Anyone Need Help?

Re: Starting cricket at the 25.........but i dont believe in impossiblities.
If there's a group of you guys and you wanted to get me over for a week and work with some locals in fast bowling workshops, then yes, of course.
This is what Dream Cricket has done...
Re: Chest Drive
You don't need a perfect action to bowl fast. The idea of working on the action though is to get faster and straighter.
Anderson does many things right but there are a few things he could do better such as use his front arm and not throw it away early. But this is how he's been...
Re: Chest Drive
It's helpful as it engages your hips, glutes and abs. And it's more likely to happen if you are a sideways on bowler. Just as long as you don't lean back to do it.
Think of a piece of string between your non-bowling elbow and front knee so it lifts up like a puppet. This will...
Re: Starting cricket at the 25.........but i dont believe in impossiblities.
Please don't forget guys - I do group work with clubs and also coach small groups anywhere. I can work with up to 4 bowlers (thus splitting the cost) at the same time in a 2-hour session - or bigger groups over 3...
Re: Chest Drive
If you touch your toes, you'll discover the end of the chest drive!
It starts from front foot impact and leads you through your action so your chest is always ahead of the rest of you and as far in front of the ball as possible.....
Re: The SLOB
A message to everyone practicing slower balls (and in PARTICULAR The SLOB)...
It can take a professional bowler many months of practice to perfect any variation so please don't expect to try professional slower balls like the SLOB once or twice and be an expert straight away. If...
Re: The SLOB
If anyone wants to film a successful SLOB delivery, I would be happy to put it on my website, which gets more than 2 million hits a year - so you'd be a star!
It would be good to have an action example of this delivery, so get fliming and practicing guys! If you have a short clip...
Re: 'Driving The Hips' (PLZ REPLY)
www.maverickscricket.com/absat.htm has a coaches forum at the bottom which you can join if you want to have any and all questioned answered directly by me on email.
Most people (players and coaches) use this to get their detailed questions asked...
Re: 'Driving The Hips' (PLZ REPLY)
Not really....the images are very poor to analyse but if you look at the clip I attached you will see how the back foot drags along to allow the hip to drive forward with the foot listing before the ball is delivered.
I think you have to imagine kicking a...
