1st ODI: India vs South Africa at Belfast
The first of these matches starts in Ireland today with India playing South Africa. Both teams have a couple of players who are less experienced than the rest so it will be interesting to see how they go in their respective sides. In a bizarre move, India have taken a 19-man squad to Ireland, for what reason is unknown although with many of the squad feeling sick, it's probably a good thing they took 19!!
South Africa have a couple of selection troubles. Vernon Philander's brilliant debut gives the selectors something to think about. Philander's problem is that the Proteas have various fast bowling options so it could prove a difficult task to break into the side despite such a good Twenty20 performance.
Should prove a good game though, both teams keen to get off to a good start to this series with plenty more cricket still to be played here and in Scotland.
