Yet another poor showing from the Tigers, this time they were bowled out for 137 after being asked to bat first. Tamim Iqbal made 53 but only three other players could make it to double figures, the highest of those was Habibul Bashar with 23.
Chris Martin was the main destroyer with four wickets, Jacob Oram took three, Kyle Mills picked up two with Daniel Vettori the final scalp.
In reply, New Zealand are 2/48 with Craig Cumming out for one and Peter Fulton falling for 14. Shahadat Hossain and Sajidal Islam, who is on debut, have the wickets. Mashrafe Mortaza has been demoted to first change.
