Big Bash Final

Sajid Mahmood was the biggest waste of money WA has ever spent. Absolute spud.

He should fit in well then. Arthur might well end up using the fire extinguisher on them in fury before the end of the season.

THOUGH the state of the injury list where the bowlers are concerned is scandalous. Their coaches should take a long look at themselves.

I honestly thought it was April fool's day for a second when I heard the news that he was playing for us. Mick Lewis too, talk about being desperate.

Pretty entertaining game tonight with NSW getting off to a big start with Smith on fire and then SA eventually fighting back to restrict them to 168.

SA then in reply started with a Warriors style batting collapse until some big hitting heroics from Pollard getting them back into the game. In the end Henriques took a blinder in the deep to finish his innings (after get smashed for 29 runs in the previous over lol) to win the game for NSW. SA all out for 147.

Henriques is a dud, never going to be anything.

Good start to the series though.

Gayle went ballistic, 60 off 30 balls including 32 off Scott Coyte's second over. Shaun Marsh top scored with 85 off 45, it's a joke that he isn't in the T20 squad to take on England. WA reached 5/205 off their 20 overs, in reply NSW scored 4/104 off 11.5 overs before rain ended play for good after a brief interruption before.

Every team has now won one game after two rounds.

Heading up to Perth for the game against the Bushrangers should be good. Mates missus is a stupid Vic, we better have a win :D

Sounds like Mahmood had another great game last night

Surely we must have some grade cricketers around that could do a better job...

What a difference no Marsh or Gayle makes. They are laughable as a batting unit without them.

What is Luke Pomersbach doing with himself these days? He looks completely out of it somehow.

Very different team without Gayle and Marsh. Would have liked to have seen Beaton and Ronchi further up the order, WA might have had a chance had they have more overs to face.

Swart is not a T20 player and Davis struggles without someone smashing it at the other end. I've been impressed with Hogan's bowling though, averaging 6.75 an over for the series.

Yeah I guess the outs don't get much bigger than that, still disappointing to not get at least a bit closer.
