Yeehah finally another red ball season about to begin. The Warriors will be hot favorites for a threepeat to take the Shield title tho they keep on losing their best to the national side. My Blues have been busy behind the scenes in the off season with couple of new players, Blake MacDonald, Ryan Hackney, the return of another favorite bowling son, Jackson Bird a new coach Greg Shipperd plus additional support staff in former elites Michael Bevan, Shane Watson and Tasmanian Alistair de Winter, all of whom may just breath some much needed life back into red ball cricket in this state.

Season opener sees Tassie thrash the Redbacks. Blues blow an early ascendancy over the Bulls to allow them to bat out a draw.

Tigers showing some resistance over the Warriors at the WACA in their second round match, the Vics are eyeing off a large deficit against the Bulls, while the Blues are neck and neck with the 'spiders' at Adelaide Oval.

Howdy, thinking I might join this thread as requested haha.

SA v NSW looking like it might be a close game

WA v Tas looking like it might be a draw.

Jhye Richardson failed to take a single wicket
Probably because he dislocated his shoulder yet again and will miss Thursdays match. Good news is no structural damage so he will play in the next Warrior game. Hard to believe he never had reconstructive surgery on this shoulder that he first injured yonks ago while fielding if memory serves..

Kurtis Patterson had been sacked by all reports, several others will join him too if the Blues dont lift their game for the next four matches before the annoying BBL break. Surprised Shipperd gave the captaincy to another dud Henriques who should have been sent out to pasture two years ago.

Nathan Lyon and Blake McDonald have been added to the Blues squad against the Vics along with left-arm quick Ben Dwarshuis. For mine Hayden Kerr should never have been dropped as he is as good a bowler and far better with the willow than his team mate.

What a win by those Apple Islanders. After Wade went I said they still has a chance to draw the game with the batting to come. Another good knock by in form Beau Webster too but what about the unlikely hero Jarrod Freeman lofting Sandhu over the long on boundary to post the winning runs only minutes before stumps. My Tassie mate will be over the moon.
