2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Bangladesh throttled Zimbabwe in the first ODI to go up 1-0 in the 5-match series. Abdur Razzak picked up 4 wickets, and then Shahriar Nafees scored an unbeaten 105 (helped along by Aftab's unbeaten 60) to give Bangladesh a 9-wicket win.

Today's match can only be closer.

Bangladesh won the toss and told Zimbabwe to bat first.

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe made 3 changes: Mahwire, Rainsford, and Dabengwa in for Nkala, Higgins, and Ireland.

Bangladesh made no changes, a logical decision considering the win and the fact that only 3 of their players got to bat.

Taylor gone early for Zimbabwe. That's bad news for the considering he was their most dangerous batsman in the first ODI.

Zimbabwe 13-1 after 4 overs.

Matsikenyeri was out for 25 a while ago, and Saqibul just got Chibhabha for 31.

Zimbabwe 70-3 after 20

Okay, I just found a website streaming this for free:
http://www.daruchini.com

You have to register and then sign back in, but it's free, and I just did it in about 60 seconds.

I'm watching the match right now in another window. The quality is great.
Zimbabwe 75-3

Zimbabwe 126-3 after 34 overs.

They've done a good job of holding onto their wickets, but they still have a lot of work to do to get a good score.

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Masakadza stumped for 41!

That's a huge wicket, he and Williams were really getting going here.

Zimbabwe 146-4 after 36.4

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is 181-5 after 43

Sean Williams is up to 55 so far, by far his highest ODI score.

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Rafique gets Williams lbw for 61, that's a huge wicket!

Zimbabwe 188-6 after 44

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Dabengwa and Brent, the two current batsmen, are both wearing the number 12. Go figure.

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe get 217-7 from their 50 overs.

It looked like they could get a bit more for a while there.
This'll definitely be closer than the first match though.

Re: 2nd ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Bangladesh 218-4 after 42.4 overs, another big win for them.

A great opening partnership from Nafees and Mehrab (67 and 54) put this one safely in the win column for Bangladesh, and it was a mere formality for the final 20 overs.

Bangladesh now lead the series 2-0

Another superb performance for Nafees, with a 67 following 2 straight centuries.
