3rd ODI Bangladesh v India at Colombo

It's currently raining in Bangladesh but the teams are:

Sri Lankan Team: Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Kumar Sangakkara (wk), Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Chamara Kapugedera, Jehan Mubarak, Farveez Maharoof, Upul Chandana, Dilhara Fernando, Nuwan Kulasekera.

For Sri Lanka in come Chamara Kapugedera, Upul Chandana and Nuwan Kulasekara replacing Lasith Malinga, Chamara Silva and Malinga Bandara.

Bangladeshi Team: Abdur Razzak, Aftab Ahmed, Farhad Reza, Mohammad Ashraful (capt), Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shahadat Hossain, Javed Omar, Shakib Al Hasan, Syed Rasel, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudallah

Bangladesh have also made two changes to their XI. Shahriar Nafees and Tushar Imran have been replaced by Javed Omar and Mahmudullah.

The umpires are due to inspect the field soon and hopefully play will start. No coin toss as of yet.

Play to start shortly with Bangladesh winning the toss and electing to field.

The match has been reduced to a 40 over a side game with 16 overs of powerplay's. Each bowler will be allowed to bowl 8 overs.

Bangladesh have done well in bowling Sri Lanka out for the first time on this tour for 196 off 39.1 overs. However Bangladesh wasted oppurtunities in dropping 4 catches including Mubarak on 16. He went onto top score for Sri Lanka making 72 off 82 balls. Dilshan made 39 off 34 and the captain Jayawardene made 20 off 16 balls.

For Bangladesh Rasel was the most economical of the bowlers getting 1/18 off 8 overs. Razzak took 3, Mahmudallah took his first 2 ODI wickets and Reza, Al Hasan and Hossain each took 1.

Bangladesh are in with a real shot in this game but they have struggled all series so the odds are against them.

Sri Lanka win the match by 39 runs and with that the ODI series as well!!!

Jehan Mubarak is the Man of the Match for his fine half century

Sanath Jayasuriya is the Man of the Series, not for his batting but for his bowling, he has picked up 9 wickets at a stunning average of 7.55

Colombo is the capital of Sri Lanka.

Indian cricket team is in England right now. Why in the middle of all those floods, I'm not sure. But they are.

lol massive typo on my part obviously should be Bandladesh v Sri Lanks
