4th ODI: South Africa vs Pakistan at Cape Town

The big news heading into this game is that Shahid Afridi has been banned for four ODI's after wielding his bat at a spectator. Afridi's actions occurred shortly after he was dismissed and was subjected to a few words from some spectators and to his downfall, he retaliated. Afridi will also miss some of the opening game in the World Cup.

So far, the series is one win apiece with the third game being washed out. Both wins for either side have been crushing victories so we might see a closer game this time around. Afridi's ban throws out Pakistan's balance a little and sees their lone batting line-up shorten a little. Iftikhar Anjum may come into the side as another pace bowling option.

Because of the one-sided games, it is hard to tell who really is in control in the series but with the series win up for grabs you can bet both teams will be going hammer and tong to try and win the game and to give thermselves an opportunity to play in the World Cup.

South Africa XI (likely): Graeme Smith*, AB de Villiers, Jacques Kallis, Herschelle Gibbs, Ashwell Prince, Justin Kemp, Mark Boucher+, Shaun Pollock, Andrew Hall, Charl Langeveldt, Makhaya Ntini

Re: 4th ODI: South Africa vs Pakistan at Cape Town

Pakistan all out for 107!

It's not over yet though. South Africa still has to battle a bowler's track, and now they have the rain to contend with as well.

Re: 4th ODI: South Africa vs Pakistan at Cape Town

Smith and de Villiers cruising towards an easy victory here, 51-0 after 8 overs.
They only need 57 more runs!
