7th ODI: England vs India at Lord's

India won the toss and chose to bat earlier today.

Losing wickets steadily, they are currently 157/8 off 41 Overs

Tendulkar is currently the highest scorer: having made 30

Mascarenhas has 3/23 off his 10
Anderson 2/19 off 8
Flintoff 2/45 off 8

is this another case of India faltering again with a series in sight?

India all out for 187. Lots of starts but nobody going on with it.

England ended up chasing the runs down in the 37th Over.

Didn't look much like a problem for the english batsman after the first two wickets fell easily, finishing at 188/3.

Pietersen finishing on 71*
Collingwood 64*

and Ian Bell being dismissed run out for 36.

Rudra Singh taking the 2 wickets for India.

England win the Series 4-3

...and we can now concentrate on the Twenty20 World Championships.

He was not out. It was a shocking decision by Aleem Dar to give him out caught when everyone could see there was no way the ball had touched the bat.

I'm not trying to make excuses for India's loss, as the rest of batting lineup should have been able to pick up slack and put up a big score. But they didn't. As I said somewhere else before, overall Dhoni's batting was an utter disappointment for this tour. He got a rather slow half-century in the last match, but overall his reputation required a lot more out of him than what he produced.
