The Waurn Ponds Cricket Club is currently seeking applications for the position of club coach/assistant coaches for season 2015/16
Affiliated with the GCA (currently in division 2) and based at Jarvis Oval the club is currently fielding 4 senior teams (in addition to an under 13s side and milo program) the WPCC is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to guide the club through a challenging transitional period.
The coaching team are responsible for activities such as:
•Player development
•Match day planning and strategy
•Driving senior training
•Long term focus and direction of the playing future of the club
These roles would be an ideal opportunity for a coach seeking a fresh challenge in their cricket career with a chance to help rebuild a club. Recognizing the challenging nature of the role the club would be prepared to consider a long term contract to the right candidate.

Senior Coaching Vacancy (Playing or Non-Playing)

The Bundoora United Cricket Club is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Coach for the 2015/16 season.

We are affiliated with the Diamond Valley Cricket Association with our 1st XI playing in Barclay Shield.
In season 2014/15 we fielded 4 senior teams, a Veterans team, an Under 14 team, three Under 12 sides and a successful Milo in2cricket program.

Like all, our aim is to build a successful club starting with a strong junior presence; we want someone that is going to help improve players in all grades with a focus on developing our 1XI cricketers to experience the ultimate success.

To do this we need dedicated on-field leadership which will be supported by a hard working committee. Preferably (but not necessarily) the successful candidate will have District or Sub District level experience and is someone who is looking to establish a coaching career at a suburban club.

Strong communication skills are important. The successful candidate will be expected to take an interest in the junior program as well as developing and implementing a strategy for the development of all players, through senior training sessions as well as one on one player sessions.

South Caulfield Cricket Club Seeks Playing Coach and Professional Players
Our first eleven compete in the VTCA’s Senior Division. Our continual aim is to be the best club in the V.T.C.A competition. We have a proud history exemplified by being the only club never to have been relegated from senior division.
All 4 senior sides played Finals Cricket last season for the 2nd successive year.

Senior Playing Coach
•The successful candidate must have a Level 1 Coaching Accreditation. However the successful candidate will be assisted in the attainment of this accreditation if required.

The Glen Iris Cricket Club is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Captain Coach for the upcoming 2015 / 2016 season and beyond.

The Glen Iris Cricket Club is one of the largest Turf Cricket Clubs within the inner south eastern suburbs, comprising of six senior sides (three turf, two synthetic and a veterans side) an area leading junior program including fourteen junior sides and a strong MILO In 2 CRICKET program. The junior program operates in close quarters with the senior program and our successes as a club have been founded on the ability to continually progress our juniors into our senior playing ranks. This is demonstrated by our third Turf side that operates as a junior development side, a mixture of senior cricketers with chosen juniors played on Sundays on our main Turf ground.

The playing and training facilities are first class at our senior home ground, Eric Raven Reserve. The playing surface and wicket hold their own against any other in the league and a brand new mixed use net facility is currently being built (ready for preseason 2015) both sit alongside a modern club house that was redeveloped in 2012.

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
  • Played cricket at a senior level and have a proven record of on and off field individual and team success preferably at 1st team Premier cricket level or 1st team Sub District cricket level.
  • Preferably have completed a level one coaching cricket qualification course
  • Demonstrated experience of managing senior training programs throughout the pre and season.
  • Strong and proven leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in creating and fostering a leadership group inside a cricket club
  • The ability to teach and improve cricket techniques for both senior and younger players of all abilities.
  • A willingness to contribute off the field via attendance / support of club functions.

RPBCC Falcons - Development Coach Vacancy (paid position)

By now, the full Victorian cricketing community should be aware of the new power ins VSDCA cricket; the RPBCC Falcons.

VSDCA 1st XI Minor Premiers last Season and losing Grand Finalists, the Falcons have announced themselves as a team on the rise and have immersed themselves in the community psych of one of metropolitan Victoria's growth areas - North/West Victoria.

With an average VSDCA 1st XI age of less than 22 and average VSDCA 2nd XI age of less than 19, our Premiership window of opportunity is open for the next 5+ Seasons.

All will have seen some key appointments and announcements, including:

- the appointment of Adam Yates as Senior Coach
- the appointment of a panel of Assistant Coach's and Emerging Leaders
- the ongoing partnership with Cricket Vanuatu and the in-principle commitment of return of Patrick Matautaava and Simpson Obed
- the in-principle Cricket Vanuatu position of adding Andrew Mansale to Cricket Vanuatu Scholarship members hosted by the Falcons in Season 2015/2016 (Andrew being Vanuatu's national Captain and a sublime talent with bat, ball and in the field)
- the ongoing behind the scenes work to secure the playing services of a former Australian Test Player and current Big Bash representative
- the re-commitment of existing elite young playing talent such as Jacob Austin (who had been actively targeted and approached by competing clubs)

As the Falcons look to finalise all appointments for Season 2015/2016, we call-out and highlight that an opportunity for a Development Coach still exists. This is a paid position.

Ideally, a proven Premier or VSDCA performer would be preferred. However, all Applications will be considered. Remuneration is negotiable and will be aligned with market worth and commensurate with achievements and skills sets.

Mernda Cricket Club – Senior Coach Wanted

The Mernda Cricket Club is affiliated with the Diamond Valley Cricket Association (DVCA) and requires the services of a playing or non-playing senior coach for the 2016/17 cricket season and beyond.

The Mernda Cricket Club is based in the quickly-growing suburb of Mernda, approx. 30km’s north of the Melbourne CBD. The Club was formed in 1914 and has had much on-field success at all levels in its long history, culminating in the 2008/09 Barclay Shield Premiership.

The Club has recently relocated to our new at the brand new, state of the art facility built by the City of Whittlesea at Waterview Recreation Reserve, Mernda. This development includes two new grounds, premier training facilities with full power/lighting, as well as an architecturally designed pavilion that was completed in mid 2015. This will enable us to secure our growth and success for the next decade and beyond.

2016/17 will see the club field 4 senior teams in Money Shield, B Grade, D Grade and F Grade as well as 2 Vets teams, 2 Under 12 teams, 2 Under 14 teams and 1 Under 16 team. We also run a very successful and highly popular Milo in2CRICKET program for boys and girls aged 5 – 10 and a Modified U12’s as a step between Milo cricket and competitive cricket.

We’re a very family orientated club and we pride ourselves on providing a safe and family friendly environment for all players, their families, members and community supporters.

The club will provide any successful applicant with a stable off-field set up and encourages any well organised and motivated coach to apply for the position.

Middle Park Cricket Club seeking Junior Coach (Paid) and 'expressions of interest' from Professional Players

More than 100 years old, Middle Park Cricket Club is a small, but successful cricket club, where enjoyment of the game and a fun club culture is our priority.

Formerly a VTCA South Division club, in season 2016/17 we'll be fielding three sides in the new Cricket Southern Bayside turf competition, with another side playing in the Mercantile Cricket Association.

Last year our First XI and Third XI teams made the semi-finals, while our Second XI and Fourth XI both fell just one game shy of finals.
We also have a strong relationship with nearby neighbours South Melbourne District, whose juniors progress to play senior cricket with Middle Park.

Our clubrooms and home grounds are located at Ovals 20 and 17 in the Albert Park sports precinct (near the Grand Prix Pit Building) and are just a short five minute drive or ten minute tram ride from the Melbourne CBD.

Junior Coach
* The successful candidate must have a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation.
* Manage under 16s training throughout the playing season (at South Melbourne District on Mondays)
* Organise under 16s match days (Friday afternoons with South Melbourne District)
* Assist the First XI Captain and Vice-Captain with senior training sessions (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
* Ability to teach and improve techniques of junior players
* Communicate to the selection committee the progress of all junior players
* Ability to play either First XI, or captain in the lower grades assisting junior development

Bonbeach Tangy Cricket Club- Seeking 1st XI Captain and/or Senior Coach


Bonbeach Tangy CC (BTCC) are affiliated with the newly formed Cricket Southern Bayside (CSB) League and are looking to secure a Senior Captain and/or Coach for the upcoming 2017/18 Cricket Season and beyond.


BTCC have 4 x Senior Turf Teams and were Runners up in 2016/17 in the Championship Division One Day & Two Day Grand Finals.


We are actively looking for a Senior Captain (ideally a batsmen) who can continue to develop our Club from the top level and also looking for a Senior Coach. Ideally we’re looking for a Non-Playing Senior Coach, but would be open to looking at candidates that are interested in applying for both positions.


Our Club operates within the City Of Kingston and we are lucky enough to have brand new facilities. The Council is also making a significant investment into the Playing surface of our Main Ground for the coming Season.


We are blessed to have a strong social presence at BTCC off field, and are very accommodating to all new Players.


BTCC share a close affiliation our Junior feeder Club, Bonbeach YCW. Bonbeach YCW have strong Milo In2Cricket & T20 Blast Programs and also have 6 x Junior Teams and are looking to expand on this.


Bonbeach Tangy are a very community focused, family orientated Club and pride ourselves on being the ‘Club of Choice’ in the Bayside Area.
