An Evening with Blowers

I`ve just got back from seeing "An Evening with Blowers" and haven`t laughed so much in ages. Henry Blofeld is touring at the moment and if you get the chance to go and see him I would strongly recomend it. The two and a half hours flew bye, he is such an interesting man. Obviously a lot of his subject matter is cricket related but I imagine his one man show would appeal to anyone with a sense of humour.
I would suggest if he comes to a theatre near you make the effort to watch him, I don`t think you will regret it. I give him 8 out of 10.

It's the accent that gets me, takes me back to when cricket was cricket .

My girlfriend hates cricket but will happily listen to the commentary when he's on; with any luck I'll be going along to the performance in Newport around May time.

I went with my Dad who`s not a real cricket person and we both laughed all night. If my daughter who`s 16 was about (school trip) she would of come and I bet all 3 of us would of had a great time.
I would guess anyone would enjoy his wit, his one liners and little throwaway comments are brilliant!

He's got a wicked sense of humour and I'm sure I'll be able to explain the cricket related stuff to the g\f.

"My dear old thing!"
