Wednesday, September 12 2.00am to 5.00am (Australia vs Zimbabwe)

Friday, September 14 10.20pm to 1.00am (Australia vs England)

Sunday, September 16 10.45pm to 1.00am (2nd round match)

Tuesday, September 18 10.45pm to 1.00am (2nd round match)

Thursday, September 20 6.30pm to 9.00pm (2nd round match)

Saturday, September 22 9.00pm to 12.00am or 2.00am to 5.00am (depending on draw) (Semi-Final/s)

Monday, September 24 10.30pm to 1.00am (Final)

That's not too bad. Will probably be able to watch most of those games, with the exception of the Zimbabwe fixture.

I am assuming those times there are Australian Eastern Standard Time?

yeah, i'm pretty sure they are EST.

dunno what it would do for you in WA though.

that would be about a 4:30pm start for you guys for a few matches wouldn't it?

Yeah, just take two hours off each of the times.

Works out pretty well for WA viewers actually. Only one possibly two games have a really late finish. The rest are all rather good times.

would the nine network show them live in perth though?

i couldn't imagine them missing the news to show them.

they'd either be on 30 minute delay here in adelaide or we miss the first little bit of the match. there is no way we'd miss the news.

Channel 9 Perth are hopeless over here. They are constantly thrashed by Channels 7, 10 and sometimes even Channel 2.

Showing the cricket would be a ratings boost for them because no-one watches that 9 over here anyway.

I would doubt they'd do it. Too many crappy shows for them to air that don't rate plus they wouldn't want to take off their non-rating news and Antiques Roadshow for the cricket. :rolleyes:

Cool. I thought that free to air wouldn't show any games at all, perhaps they are anticipating a reasonable interest in the tournament.@|

here in Adelaide we don't get the full coverage of some of the games (not sure how it will work in Eastern States or in WA).

Tonight (Aus vs Zim) and Friday (Aus vs Eng) we get the full games, but on Sunday night the coverage starts at 10:45pm and ends at 12:30am. So essentially we should just get the run chase. Which is the same next Tuesday night - 10:45 the coverage starts only to complete at 12:30am.

looks like we're only getting the run chase in the aussie matches from now on. including the game against Sri Lanka on thursday night. :(


...hopefully i am wrong though
