Hello pace/seam/swing bowlers:) Left arm chinaman here, are there any of you that use the back of the hand slower ball as a permanent variation? If you do, does your's dip noticeably? I'm thinking of using the back of the hand slower ball as a replacement for the top spinner, but I need your advice. Is it best use as a slower ball, or could it be more useful as a quicker ball?

What is it that your looking for in a slower ball? What should it's attributes be?

If your a slower / medium pace bowler, what are you looking for in a quicker ball? (If you can manage something quicker)

And would you trade your back of the hand slower ball for a back of the hand ball that's slightly quicker than your stock ball, or would you rather just have a faster stock ball and a regular back of the hand slowy?

Only really works as there is additional pace behind the ball as a pace man. It does slow considerably but it quite easy to pick
