Bangladesh v Scotland 1st ODI

This 2-match series gets underway in a few hours.

It'll be interesting to see if Scotland can put up more of a fight than Zimbabwe did.

Smith finally out for 30, great partnership between him and Rogers, but it was probably too little too late.

Scotland 117-8 after 38

that partnership lasted nearly 15 overs.

A good job by the tail to last 45.1 overs.

Bangladesh has a target of 153, which shouldn't trouble them too much. It'd be nice if Scotland could take a few early wickets and make it exciting, but with Nafees in there for Bangladesh, that seems highly unlikely.

From 74/7 that's not a bad total. That being said, it will still be an easy task for Bangladesh, unless of course it is a dodgy pitch, which I have no reason to believe it is.

Mehrab out for 8, but Nafees and Aftab are doing fine.

Aftab is up to 49, while Nafees is still on 17, despite the fact that Nafees was the opener. Aftab is really on fire here!

As you can see, Nafees has actually played fewer matches than the three at the very top. And his average compares very favorably to the rest of the people on that list.

Bangladesh finish 154-4 in 29.1 overs, winning by a fairly comfortable margin.
