Bangladesh v Scotland 2nd ODI

Bangladesh won the first ODI fairly handily, and I'm sure they're expecting to complete the sweep today. We'll see how strong of a squad they put out there.

Looks like Scotland may be without Watson, who fractured his cheekbone in the first match. Tough blow for Scotland, losing their top batsman.

Scotland won the toss and chose to bowl.

A bunch of early wides, 8 so far.

Bangladesh 19-0 after 4 overs.

The Scottish bowlers have really tightened things up. They're staying in the match so far.

A decent enough score, probably enough to win, but at least Scotland look to have prevented them from reaching a really high score like 300.

Bangladesh had a great last 7 overs.
They finished 278-6.

Mortaza scored 51 from only 27 balls!


That should be well out of Scotland's reach.

A terrible 'tour' of Bangladesh by Scotland. Considering how little cricket they had played prior to the trip, it is very poor planning that they did not organise to play several matches against local sides first not only to acclimatise but also to get match fit.

Now they have paid the price and to boot encouraged further articles on the 'gulf between Test and Associate teams'.

A comment on bangladesh too though - I reckon they would currently give several other Test teams a really good run for their money. They are no longer the weak link that everyone seems to think.
