Great club logo!

Just wondering what grounds do you play on? Do you have to use gridiron or soccer fields? Are there any turf wickets available to play on?

hello all,

as the warm weather approaches, what better way to spend them then by playing some cricket! The 'Roos already have two matches under our belts and we are by far the best team in NYC!

Ok, maybe not the best according to the final score, but we look the best, eat and drink the best, and have the most fun!

just an update as to the 'Roos upcoming events-

Saturday, May 19th- practice/tennis ball cricket anyone?
Location: TBD, time would be 10:30am

Sunday, May 20th- (non 'Roos event, but for a good cause anyway!)-
Nick Baker Live music, outdoor BBQ at Eight Mile Creek
starts at 4pm, price $15, includes BBQ, 1 Coopers, and proceeds go to Dylan Hartung Fund

The tennis ball/softball events are open to anyone who is interested in playing some cricket, and not worried about getting bashed by a hard ball!
it is geared towards having fun, and afterwards we will arrange a drinking place to go over the fine plays (and mishaps!) of the day.

Keep in mind all the dates and events are subject to change.

Our Marquee event for the summer will be the Beach Cricket Cup. We have the mat and equipment that XXXX Gold uses for their very popular summer series that was held this past summer in Australia. It will be run similar to the Australia Day Indoor Cup, however plans are to have to entry costs be much cheaper. If you know of any business, corporation or establishment interested in getting great exposure by supporting the event, forward this along to them
